Marko Feher x eterna for the 32nd Sarajevo Film Festival

Sustainable fashion begins the moment a material stops having only one purpose. When what already existed becomes the starting point for something new, sustainability is no longer a constraint on design — it becomes its own unique and authentic creative space.

It's from this idea that the Marko Feher x eterna* collaboration was born, realized as part of the wider campaign "Let's Adopt New Habits. Let's Make Use of Waste!", launched by the CETAP project to help citizens see waste differently — not as a problem, but as a valuable resource.

eterna* builds its concept on locally sourced textile surplus and production remnants, giving them new value through a circular approach. That same philosophy has existed for years in the work of Marko Feher, one of the best-known designers in Bosnia and Herzegovina and a pioneer of sustainable fashion in the country. His creative language is built through the transformation of existing and discarded materials, deconstruction, handwork, and a more responsible relationship with every step of the production process.

So this collaboration isn't just a meeting between a designer and a brand. It's a meeting of two already-established philosophies rooted in the same idea: material doesn't define the limits of creativity. The way we look at it can change its entire story.

Heart

The Heart as a Shared Language

For the red carpet of the 32nd Sarajevo Film Festival, Marko Feher transformed 2.5 metres of damaged eco-leather — originally destined for waste — into a couture creation through a process of deconstruction, multi-day reshaping, and handwork. More than 2,000 heart-shaped elements, joined by the red thread that is eterna*'s signature mark, became part of a singular silhouette carrying both the trace of the material it was made from and Feher's unmistakable creative hand.

The heart in this story is no accidental motif — it's the shared language of three strong identities.

It continues Feher's long-standing creative language "Ljubav, Љубав, Ljubav" (Love, Любов, Love) — the idea of love as a universal language that knows no borders, cultures, or scripts. For eterna*, it symbolizes a love that lasts, timelessness, and values that don't follow seasonal trends. For the Sarajevo Film Festival, the Heart of Sarajevo is already more than a symbol — it's one of the most recognizable emblems of the festival, of art, and of a city that brings the world together every year.

Limited Edition

A Piece of the SFF Red Carpet, In Your Wardrobe

Inspired by the couture creation presented on the red carpet, the limited-edition Marko Feher x eterna* shirt continues the same story in a wearable, everyday format.

Every piece in this limited collection was made as a reminder that material doesn't have to end where we once thought it would. That something that was once surplus can become something valuable. And that design can be beautiful, responsible, and personal, all at once.

The limited edition Marko Feher x eterna* is available in a limited number of pieces at Bloom Concept Store in Sarajevo, or through the eterna* webshop.

Because what's made by hand can last longer. What's made with intention can mean more. And what's born from love doesn't need to follow trends to leave a mark.
