OUR STORY
Eterna began with a simple decision: use what already exists and make it last.
Born within OREA, the Bosnian-born platform that gathers designers, artisans, and artists from across the region, Eterna is a fashion project built from locally sourced surplus premium textiles. Where fashion often defaults to overproduction and churn, we opt for limited runs and utilitarian design through timeless pieces. The result is clothing that wears and ages well.
We work with remnants and dormant stock, recut and repurpose it with care in our atelier in Sarajevo. Every choice serves the same aim: reduce waste, restore dignity to craft, and build a circular habit here at home. Our red thread is a discreet signature and a pledge: connection, continuity, shared responsibility. It links maker to wearer, piece to place, and today, to tomorrow.
Our vision is a regional ecosystem where design, craft, and responsibility are inseparable, transparent supply, honest materials, fair processes, and garments made in considered numbers. We keep editions small and accountable, we work uncumbered by fashion’s relentless seasons. Drop 01 introduces two pieces: a jacket and a shirt, each numbered to 10. They are cut from the finest excess materials, finished by skilled hands, and meant to be worn often, repaired when needed, and kept in circulation.
Our mission is collaborative by design. Materials come from partners who share our ethos: Inside by Ećo, Alma Ras, Bontex, Empress, Treehana, and Marko Feher, and the project was realized with the support of the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo. Collectively, we prove that sustainability is not a trend but a standard.
Made in Sarajevo by a team that blends experience with restraint, it is an ever-evolving creative collective that will keep creating as long as there is a need to transform excess into value.
Fashion Pieces Born from Excess: A Manifesto of Longevity Called Eterna
Eterna is a new sustainable fashion project and a limited unisex capsule collection launched by OREA, a Bosnian platform that has been bringing together creatives, designers, and artists from across the region for years. The collection is made exclusively from discarded textile surpluses and locally sourced materials.
In a world where fashion often means overproduction and fleeting trends, Eterna emerges as both a response and a call for change. Instead of creating new materials, the team behind Eterna chooses what already exists: remnants of natural fabrics, forgotten surpluses, and textile fragments—materials that were once waste—and transforms them into timeless pieces.
From its very first presentation, it was clear that Eterna is more than a collection—it is a manifesto of mindful creation. A place where aesthetics and ethics meet in balance. Born from a desire to unite timeless design, sustainability, and community, Eterna questions what it means to wear fashion today—and what kind of trace we leave as we do so.
Thus, “made from excess, created to last” is not just a slogan, but a philosophy guiding every stitch, every cut, and every decision throughout the entire story.
The first drop and official Eterna presentation took place yesterday in Sarajevo, and the first two pieces are available for purchase starting today through the official Eterna platform. Each item—a jacket and a shirt—is produced in a limited series of ten, hand-numbered. Their signature detail, a red thread, symbolizes connection, continuity, and shared responsibility.
This simple yet powerful detail becomes a visual reminder of the philosophy behind everything Eterna stands for: sustainability, creativity, responsibility, and togetherness.
What makes Eterna truly different is its commitment to restoring dignity to the process of making. By using locally collected textile surpluses, the collection affirms a zero-waste approach and celebrates craftsmanship—the art of hands that create, refine, and preserve. Through Eterna, OREA demonstrates that sustainability is not a passing trend, but the very essence of contemporary design: honest, thoughtful, and deeply connected to the time we live in.
Behind the project stands a team that blends experience, vision, and artistic courage.

Fashion That Doesn’t Fade, but Lasts
Ultimately, Eterna is much more than fashion. It is a community of people who believe that creating differently is possible—with respect for the material, the process, and the planet. A call for mindfulness, respect, and love for what we wear.
The first drop of the Eterna collection is available starting November 10, exclusively through the Eterna platform, in a limited series of just ten pieces per design—for all those who wish to wear garments that carry a story, a message, and lasting value.
